The food at the Smith Wells Lodge features lots of fish like Grouper and the Bohemian staple, Conch. The habitat and Saltwater Flats around the South end of Long Island consist of white sand Flats and water colors that vary between green, blue and turquoise. The Flats of Long Island hold both quality numbers and size of Bonefish. There is also the occasional Permit and Tarpon on Long Island although we sell this trip as a Bonefish trip. One of the absolute best qualities of Long Island and it’s fishery is the lack of Angling pressure.
