Cayo Romano Cuba 12/7/24-12/14/24- This is absolutely one of our favorite Cuban trips. The value associated with Cayo Romano is shocking for what you get. Located on the North shore of the eastern province of Camaguey, the Cayo Romano fishery is an enormous system of flats, lagoons, and pristine estuaries. Commercial fishing within this designated area is strictly forbidden and rigorously enforced. There are very few places on earth where guests can fish for both BIG Bonefish each day while also fishing for tailing Permit. Cayo Romano also has quality Tarpon, Barracuda and Lemon Shark fishing. The main reason to fish Romano is the opportunity at trophy Bonefish and Permit. Cayo Romano has only been in operation since 2011 and has not seen as many clients, particularly when compared to other locations in the Caribbean that offer this quality of Fly Fishing. Your accommodations include lodging at The Romano which is a beautiful Resort style setting. We are only 100 yards from the Marina where we board our Skiffs each day. The Romano has a swimming pool, bar, lounge, restaurants and bowling alley. All rooms are spacious and well appointed with AC, tile floors and beautiful showers. This is definitely a trip you DO NOT want to pass up if you are looking for a great fishing week in Cuba. *Cost of this trip is $3995.00 plus a $100.00 transportation fee. $2000.00 saves your spot.
